Full Name: Taran.
*Nick Name(s): Can't think of any at the moment, honestly...
Gender: Female.
Pronouns: She/her/hers.
Age: She's eighteen in human years.
Species: Field-mouse.
Appearance: Taran is a little bit shorter than the average field-mouse her age and has a wiry build. Her short fur is a rather dark brown, though her stomach, throat, and chin are paler. She has a slightly narrow face, large dark brown eyes, and high-set ears. Taran wears fairly simple clothing--typically a long-sleeved green tunic and a brown jerkin. She often goes about bare-pawed unless necessary.
Personality: She's a bit quiet at first glance and tends to think before she speaks. Upon getting to know her, Taran reveals herself to be warm-hearted, with a good sense of humor. However, she tends to bottle up problems, is a bit naive, and may push herself too hard. I'm gonna flesh her out more in the roleplay, I think...
Allies: Redwallers, goodbeasts/woodlanders in general.
Enemies: TBD.
Strengths: She's a fairly good harpist and singer. She's got a pretty good memory, especially when it comes to songs and stories. She can sew fairly well.
Weakness: She can't lie convincingly, is scared of heights, can't swim, and is loyal to a fault.
*Goal: In the short-term, she'd rather like to improve her skills as a harpist, learn new songs and tales, and see what she can see into the bargain. As far as more long-term goals, she hopes to settle down with a nice fella someday.
Background: Let's see... Taran grew up on a farm; she's the youngest of a few siblings. Her days were filled with a lot of hard work--and her nights were filled with music and stories. She'd gather around the hearth with her siblings, listening wide-eyed as her father sang old ditties or told stories of heroes. As it happened, Taran shared her father's love of music and tales, and her father taught him to play the harp beginning at a fairly young age. When Taran was old enough, she left home to go roving for a time, with her trusty harp (a gift from her father) and a dagger at her side.
*Quirks:
*Weapons: She carries a slender dagger that's used as both a weapon and a tool.
*Other things that may be important: Let's see... Her harp is her most prized possession. Can't really think of much else at the moment.
