Age: thirteen seasons (about 26 yrs)
Species: otter
Appearance: Taurian has dark brown fur, and hazel eyes. She is relatively short for her age and species, and has a slightly stocky build. She usually wears a simple tunic, in soft natural shades of green, brown, or red. She has a belt around her waist, which houses several pouches; one for her slingstones, one for food, one for traveling herbs, and the last for small stones and such that catch her eye.
Personality: Taurian is intelligent and stubborn. She gets along well with most beasts, but can be cold to those she does not like. Usually, she is jovial and makes light of situations.
Allies: The Mossflower Ottercrew, the Rambrook otters (former)
Enemies: Those who attack those she loves.
Strengths: Intelligent, physically strong, stubborn. She stands her ground well.
Weakness: can be lethargic, really too stubborn for her own good. She will cut herself off if she's sad or upset, and she isn't the best at managing her emotions. She isn't the quickest when she attacks. Not good at picking up social cues.

Background: Born in the east, Taurian's parents left her in the holt of the Rambrook otters, and she never knew them. She grew up among the Rambrooks, and grew very close to the Skipper's daughter, Presa "Pikewolf" Rambrook. Presa was the one to bestow the nickname "Bullrudder" upon Taurian. When Taurian was eight seasons old, Presa went traveling, much to the chagrin of Skipper and Taurian. Presa offered Taurian the chance to come along, but Taurian was unsure, and Presa left without her. Taurian didn't take Presa's leaving well, considering it abandonment, and growing bitter and angry at everything around her. After another two seasons, Taurian left the holt, heading Southwest. Now, her temper's evened out, and she is mostly back to her usually cheerful self.

*Weapons: sling, sharp-tipped staff, dirk (at some point she may go to Salamandastron, and that's when she acquires the dirk).
*Other things that may be important: She is reluctant to let people get close to her, after what she went through with Presa. (in my personal stories about Taurian, she may meet up with Presa again in the future. In the stories with my other badger strongholds, her history is different, and she does meet up with Presa again.) Taurian is gay, and had a bet going with Presa when they were friends that Taurian or Presa wouldn't be able to find a pretty ottermaid on their respective travels.
