Full Name:
Cremsin Fireslayer
*Nick Name(s):
Hellfire of the North, Fireclaws, Fireslayer, Fiery Death, Warlord of Fire, etc.
Gender:
Male
Pronouns:
He/Him
Age:
Adult (around 32 in human age)
Species: Mink
Appearance:
Cremsin is hardly above the height of a standard mink, although he appears to have a more sleek, agile build. His face is pointier and his all-seeing amber eyes are shifty slits. His most defining feature has to be his fur--a brilliant shade of fiery red, with a lighter, golden tail-tip. One viewing him from a distance would mistake him for a slim column of fire instead of a mink. He dons a cape and a tunic of fiery hues--clapped upon them is sparse golden armor, and his form is decorated with a couple necklaces made of yellow, red, and orange crystals. He wears brass hoop earrings and, of course, his signature weapon--golden metal claws with jagged, saw-like edges.
Personality:
A sly and calculated warlord with an ego. His huge horde has made him the current undefeated vermin leader in the Northlands as well as Mossflower Country, and he clearly has that all-powerful stride in his step showing that he's well aware of this fact. He has earned a large sense of self-pride and smugness, and rightfully so. He is an efficient war leader, and he is cunning and conniving. Some say he could outfox a fox. Other then that he holds all the other signature traits of a vermin leader--cruel, merciless, power-hungry. He's as ambitious as he is smart and clever, and confident in his abilities to conquer the lush lands his Northern horde has located.
Allies:
The closest thing he's got is his horde.
Enemies:
All the good guys, basically. And Camilla the Wrath. Definitely. The Wrath.
Strengths:
He is dangerously agile. Trying to land a direct hit on him is like trying to catch smoke. Cremsin is a master at close combat, and to date he's never met a creature he couldn't overpower. The poison he created for his metal claws is horribly lethal--it can take out at least three full grown male badgers with a single tiny cut (at least, that's what Cremsin says). He also has a bit of a silver tongue, which he uses sparingly on more simple-minded beasts or his horde members. The fact that his vermin horde is so large can be counted as a strength within itself. His willingness and efficiency at wielding fire as an actual weapon is also one of his signature strengths.
Weakness:
He has the stereotypical vermin leader weaknesses. Behind his facade of pride and strength he is but a coward and a faint-hearted bully, terrified of beasts he know are stronger then him. He hides behind his horde in tough situations to save his own skin. He has an ego especially when it comes to using fire, and believes it could never mess up on him (despite fire's clear unpredictability). He rules his soldiers with fear, not kindness. He isn't good at long-range battle, thus making him virtually helpless against throwing lances, slingstones, and arrows if he's out in the open. He also cannot swim.
*Goal:
Take over Mossflower Country. He's heard tale of Redwall specifically, and that's where he's going.
Background:
He was born as a nobody in the Northlands, just some wretched vermin's son trying to survive in the cruel environment. However, since the day he could walk and understand things, Cremsin Fireslayer has always had a fascination with fire. It enticed him, the dancing flames, fooling the unwise of their true destructive nature with their beautiful colors and graceful movements. Cremsin was inspired by it--he saw the potential in fire, and he saw fire in himself. Just as much as he loved fire, he was ambitious. He believed he would start as but a kindling flame---and would grow into an inferno, just like the fire. And the best part (for him)? He was right. It started with a couple vermin, staring in awe as he did trick after skillful trick with fire-handling, and from there on, it grew. Vermin swarmed to the young mink like moths to a flame, hearing tales of his fearlessness against the all-powerful fire and the occasional rumor of surely, there must be some kind of plunder to get from being around him. Cremsin Fireslayer then saw his destiny--a conqueror.
First, he started to the Northern Coast. Here was where he made his first enemy--a wolf warlord, much more experienced then him, named The Wrath. They fought and his horde fled, leaving The Wrath's army momentarily stunned and bruised. It was then he set off South, both for rumors of a better land and to flee from the Wrath (although Cremsin would never admit that second part). He's gotten to Mossflower Country, and with Camilla the Wrath out of sight, she's also out of mind. He likes it in Mossflower, it' be a good land to conquer. A couple of native Mossflower vermin who had joined his cause have described an Abbey--a grand, castle-like structure full of food and even containing a magic sword. The ambitious Cremsin Fireslayer's mind was set. He would take over this land. He'd worry about the wolf later.
*Quirks:
He compares himself to fire; particularly in terms of the dangerous power of fire. In fact, he appears to worship the heat anomaly. He loves to burn down whatever stands in his way if he can, whether it be made of flesh or not. Cremsin is perhaps one of the only warlords to use fire as a weapon and approve of its use. His gleeful use of fire in battle has an effect of intimidation and awe upon his horde. He hates water and the cold, and enjoys taking dust baths. He speaks in a vague Northern vermin accent, using 'thous' and 'thees' and suchlike. He has a smooth voice, yet a hissing tone.
*Weapons:
Long, Freddy-Krueger-esque metal claws with jagged tips---thoroughly soaked and laced with a poison of his own creation. He names them 'Claws of Inferno'. He also carries a dirk and has just enough experience with a standard sling.
*Other things that may be important: Unless the administrator says otherwise, Cremsin is the main villain of the RP. In that case, he is en route to Redwall Abbey, destroying anything in his path.
