Appearance: Very dark fur, very dark eyes. One of his back legs is twisted and he can't walk much on it, so he walks with a cane. (see background) He has a bulky, sturdy frame and is very tall.
Personality: He's a healer, and has a very gentle nature, though he has a temper and often gets frustrated by his leg. He wanted to be a warrior as a child, so he often feels like he failed. He is polite and very open to people, so he makes friends easily, but can be a little blunt. He values being directand does not 'sugar coat' the truth.
Allies: He lives at Redwall, and has since the accident.
Enemies: Bad guys, though he will heal anyone, even people he finds unpleasant.
Strengths: He is incredibly intelligent and learns things very quickly, as well as having excellent problem solving abilities. He knits and can mend and sew, and is an excellent healer.
Weakness: He's not strong physically, or fast, nor can he swim. He has a temper, and will snap at people if they don't listen to him about their medical needs.
Background: He was born at Salamandastron to a family of warriors and heroes. When he was seven seasons old, he was hiking with his mother when he slid down a rocky incline and fell badly. It was a few days until he could get proper medical attention and by then his injury was deeply infected. It took him months to recover, and when he did he found he couldn't use the leg as well as he could before. He was sent to Redwall to learn from the Abbey healer, and grew up there. After the death of his mentor, he took over as Infirmary Keeper, which was unusual due to his young age.
*Quirks: He talks to himself when he's irritated and needs to have his hands busy at all times.
*Weapons: He learned a little of using a spear and a sword as a child, but can't do it properly now.
