Full Name: Elis
*Nick Name(s): Eli
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Age: Young Adult (roughly 20 in human years)
Species: Dormouse
Appearance: On the shorter side with a slender build, with reddish fur and dark brown eyes. He tends to wear layered clothing, generally a green, hooded shirt with the sleeves cut off and wide slits on either side over a tan tunic with short sleeves. He often wears cloth bands about his ankles and always wears a long string bracelet from which hangs a pretty amber colored stone.
Personality: Elis is gentle and quiet generally, but he's a born performer so it's easy for him to affect a bolder personality if necessary. He has a roguish side, enjoying little more than a clever prank so long as no beast gets really hurt. Jokes easily and lightly about almost anything. Has a tendency to never allow silly mistakes to be lived down. Also tends to be a bit vindictive. Even around the gentlebeasts of Redwall he rarely lets his guard down, though he enjoys talking with and being around them.
Allies: The Redwallers,
Enemies: TBD
Strengths: He can sing; Has good eyesight; Plays multiple instruments (Though he's best with flutes and the like); He's a good actor; He's decent in a long range fight.
Weakness: He can be a bit of a klutz and tends to trip over his own paws if he attempts any step more complicated than a run; Terrified of bees (There was an incident when he was little); No good at close combat whatsoever; Dislikes the sight of blood up close (he won't faint or get outright sick but it does make him cringe and feel a bit queasy).
*Goal: Currently just to live a peaceful life.
Background: Elis grew up out in Mossflower Wood, wandering about with his mother and father and six older siblings, who were traveling entertainers. His parents were pretty strict, especially his father who expected his children to be strong and capable, especially his sons. His mother was simply determined to spoil and care for her two eldest. Still it was a peaceful life until Elis reached his early teens, they had been staying with a tribe of Voles entertaining them for a few seasons, just as they were going to leave however, a few of the Voles set up a cry that many valuable things had been stolen. Outraged the Voles turned on Elis's family. Immediately, Elis's mother tossed her youngest to the voles declaring that he was always pinching things, fibbing to save the skins of the rest of her brood. The voles demanded that Elis return the stolen property, but, as he had not stolen it in the first place, there was no way the young mouse could comply. As Elis was interrogated by the angry beasts his family slipped away into the woods. Eventually the voles discovered that Elis really wasn't the thief, it had been one of their own number instead, but the damage had been done and the mouse was now alone in the world, unwilling to stay with the voles and incapable of finding his family again he simply wandered through Mossflower country, playing tunes and singing songs for anyone who would feed him.
Eventually a few woodlanders told him of Redwall. He'd heard of the Abbey before, but never in any detail besides a name and the fact that they were peaceful folk.
*Quirks: When he's bored or thinking about something he tends to use any flat surface near by as a drum, he claims the noise helps him think. Gets very nervous and somewhat more clumsy around anyone he happens to have a crush on.
*Weapons: Bow, sling, anything he can throw.
*Other things that may be important: Bi-romantic Asexual. He's a terrible cook (like the worst cook ever, he could probably set water on fire).
