Full Name: Jake Redbrush
*Nick Name(s): Jake, Red, brushtail, etc. Referring to his short stature may induce a grumpy retort.

Pronouns: he/him/his, etc.
Age: 17 seasons (4+ years)
Species: Red Squirrel
Appearance: He has rust-red fur. His headfur is unkempt and spiky. In contrast, his bushy tail is well groomed. Jake has a lean, athletic build. His short stature is made up for with strength and speed. He has another growth spurt coming though. He has pine-green eyes, and sports a confident smirk most of the time. He wears a simple green tunic underneath a mottled tan, brown, and green jerkin. He also wears a belt on which he keeps his weapons. He only wears a cloak in cold or rainy weather. He carries a small bag with provisions and a small first aid kit.
Personality: Jake is confident, cocky, and always itching for an adventure. He is a skilled fighter, and has a hard time holding back when it comes to close range combat. He can't stand bullies, and will do everything in his power to protect those in need. Though usually outgoing, he appreciates having personal quiet time once in a while. He enjoys playing the tin whistle, and sometimes composes short ditties. Jake takes good care of his weapons, cleaning them regularly.
Allies: Redwall, gudbeasts in general
Enemies: bullies, vermin, tyranical types
Strengths: Jake is a skilled warrior, quick on his feet, has good balance, and is fastest when in the trees. Plays music by ear, but can sometimes follow notes on a page. Jake is also a skilled tracker. He is steadfast and loyal.
Weakness: Good food, cocky, can be a bit obnoxious/boisterous at times. Seldom does he look before he leaps. Can't sing very well at all. Not the best swimmer, but he can manage. When he is angry about something, it's difficult to reason with him, especially when it involves something important to him.
*Goal: His goal is to gather information on the growing horde and report back to his tribe chieftain with his findings. Then relay the intel to Redwall Abbey.
Background: Jake Redbrush grew up in central Mossflower, in a squirrel tribe located near the River Moss. Being from a warrior tribe, he grew up learning how to fight, track, and utilize his surroundings for strategic purposes such as camouflage and confusing his enemies. Jake has been to Redwall several times, but has not joined the order, on account that he is a warrior, and feels that he would not fit in very well.
*Quirks: He is a total foodie, and can smell a cooking fire at least half a mile off. Perhaps an exaggeration, but still. Jake is a bit of a prankster, and likes to mess with his opponents when he can. His enemies sometimes describe him as crazy.
*Weapons: Jake is proficient in archery, knife throwing, and tracking. He is currently carrying throwing knives, and a slingshot. Jake is a whirlwind of fury when involved in paw-to-paw combat.
*Other things that may be important: Jake is straight, and is not looking for any relationships other than friendship. He tends to be oblivious to flirtation and whatnot. Due to his active lifestyle, he is always hungry for food. Feed him, and you've got yourself an ally, unless you're a villainous type, then you've got another thing coming!

Also, I have a specific way of figuring out a character's age in seasons. These two will likely be my main characters, and my only characters on this forum.
