Hello, Warriors of Redwall! My name is Jared Sandeye. I just registered here!

I was recommended this site by a friend of mine on my Tumblr account. I was told that there was a major RP Story Arc going on here, and I'm hoping to join. So any advice on how to start? Aside from my namesake character being featured here, I also want to create a different character that I'm still throwing ideas around. But for sure, he will be a vermin.

Again, any advice for beginners?

The basic plot is posted in the plots thread. Other than that, I would say skim the character profiles of as many characters as you can, and catch up on what's happening so far (Not a lot has. I'm going to make a summary topic so catching up is easier but have not yet had the time to do so) and jump on in! We aren't far in the plot at all. We've barely scratched it, to be honest.

I've been roleplaying for years, and the most important rule when character creating is be realistic. Always always have flaws that can match strengths, in such a way that it makes the strengths hard, you know what I'm saying? Also! When replying, never just answer. Instead of saying 'yes.', try and say 'yes, but...' or 'yes, and...' does that make sense? not only does it make it easier for others, it makes it more fun for you!
